Egyptian Late Period (664-332 B.C.) Bronze Osiris Figurine. Finely formed mummiform figure of Osiris, the Lord of the Underworld, wearing the characteristic Atef crown and false beard and holding crook and flail over his chest. A small loop at the back of the figure's neck may suggest that it was designed to be worn as an amulet. Attractive mossy green patina. Height: 4¾". Estimate Value $300 - 500
