19th Century Russian Gold-washed Silver and Crystal Tankard. Handsome tankard with gold-washed silver lid, handle, and framework, ornamented by three continuous friezes of raised palmette, leaf, and egg and dart designs, with cut crystal body standing on a trio of clawed gold-washed silver feet. Hallmarked on the underside of the lid. Made in St. Petersburgh, circa 1810-1820. Height: 7½". Estimate Value $2,000 - 3,000
