19th Century German Silver Trophy with Inlaid German Thalers and Deutsche Marks. Grand silver presentation trophy with inlaid 19th century German thalers and Deutsche marks, bearing the inscription "Deutsches Centenar Sportfest 17 Juni 1897" around the rim and "Ehrenpreis Herrn-Trabfahren zu Carl S Horst" around the foot -- a prize presented at the German Centennial Sports Festival of 1897. Stamped .800 fine silver and J. Wagner & Sohn on the bottom. Coins polished, but condition is very nice. Height: 8". Weight: approx. 35 ozt. Estimate Value $1,500 - 2,000
