Vigyázó, Lázló. Megy a Partra (Going to Shore). (1945-) Hungarian painter well regarded for his landscapes and maritime works. Vigyázó has been steadily painting since 1978 but is also an accomplished, professional musician Here a wonderful oil on wood panel, where a Dutch aristocrat is being rowed to shore as the sun sets dramatically in a burst of color. Panel measures 12 x 9" and framed to 19½ x 16" in a heavy gilt wood frame. In excellent condition and a very striking piece. Estimate Value $400 - 600
