Hank Williams Sr. Signed Photo Inside Sheet Music ca. 1950 (1923 - 1953) One of the greatest American singer-songwriters of the mid-20th Century and considered "The King of Country Music" with over 30 hit singles (10 posthumously) in the Country & Western charts, many crossing over to more popular appeal. An unparalleled talent, but years of back pain and injury led to prescription drug abuse and alcoholism severely damaged Williams' health and died at only age 29 leaving a legacy of hits rarely equaled by anyone, "Lovesick Blues", "Hey Good Lookin'", "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and of course. "Your Cheatin' Heart." Here a beautifully kept gatefold shot of Hank and Audrey Williams with the Drifting Cowboys, pages 24 and 25 inscribed and signed in brown fountain pen ink in the center by Mr. Williams "Best Wishes Hank Williams" This sheet music is from the 1948 Country Music Folio of Hank Williams Sr.'s songs, but centerfold has been carefully lifted out and in excellent condition with slights evidence of staples. Estimate Value $700 - 1,000
