Collection of Autographs; Music and Hollywood Greats; Rare William S. Hart, Band Leaders & 30 Photos. A diverse collection of autographs. From Hollywood a rare double-weight signed and inscribed photo of William S. Hart the earliest Western movie stars in Hollywood, signed (and hand printed) autograph of Fred Astaire, a double-signed School Building Fund Pledge by Kirk Douglas, typed letter signed Gene Autry, an autograph letter signed on Disney stationery by Maurice Chevalier., a typed letter signed by gossip vulture Louella Parsons, other ALS of Lee Remick and David Birney. Also there are at 30 8 x 10 stills from silent actresses well into the 1960s of John Payne, Robert Montgomery, Howard Hughes, 50s era Joan Collins, Fred MacMurray, Alice Faye, Anne Baxter and 5 very early images of Darryl Zanuck the legendary producer and studio head of 20th Century Fox from 1944 to 1956 one at a studio costume party in the 30s which we have never seen published. Most interesting is an autograph book from clearly a fan in the mid-1950s of Legendary Big Band Band Leaders and Musicians including Louis Armstrong (signed twice as Louis Armstrong and "Satchmo", Bill Haley, Tex Beneke, Tiny Hill, Jimmy Palmer, Ray Pearl, Russ Morgan Woody Herman, Charles Spivak, Danny Davis, Les Elgart, Dick Jorgenson Wayne King, Chuck Cabot and more. These are virtually the leading band and orchestra leaders and accomplished musicians that dominated popular music before Rock N' Roll. Autograph album of greats in excellent condition.
