Rare Screen Star Stamp Book, Near Complete! Hollywood Starstamp Collectors Album (1947) 36 pages with the printed autographs of the biggest stars at the time. Collectors would buy packets of stamps and fill in the numerous pages basically playing a quiz of who's who in Hollywood. Under each square where the stamp would be placed is the autograph of the star which makes for a fine reference when matching autographs. There were 45 packets containing 474 Starstamps. This album, beautifully maintained is missing only about 5 stamps. Pages have toning otherwise album is in great shape. Nice deco-themed leatherette cover and introduction by Jean Herscholt on inside facing page. Estimate Value $100 - 200
