A full antique Japanese 'KATANA' sword 'KOSHIRAE' (mounts only, no blade), Edo period or older. 27" 'SAYA' (sword scabbard) with cord. 3" diameter 'TSUBA' (guard) signed with gold inlay. 9" complete 'TSUKA ITO' (handle with sword wrap), matching 'MENUKI' ('FUCHI' & 'KASHIRA' with iron copper and gold. 36" overall. Very fine condition overall. Note the wood "substitute " for the blade is broken at the handle but held by tape, was for display only and in no way impacts the value of the antique mounts.
