Antique Ottoman Empire 'Miquelet' Flintlock Musket. Antique Ottoman Empire 'Miquelet' Flintlock Musket, circa. 1780-1840. 33".64 cal. barrel with areas of simple decorative silver overlay at breech, mid section and muzzle. Wood stock is solid with areas of decorative bone inlays and brass nail heads; some minor chips, dings, and scratches from years of handling. Miquelet form lock with silver overlay and is in good mechanical working order. 49" overall length. Note; Later replacement military style brass barrel band. Stock may be a later replacement.
