US Model 1795 Harper's Ferry Flintlock Musket Dated 1808. An Antique U.S. Model 1795 Harpers Ferry Flintlock Musket Dated 1808. 44.5".70 cal. barrel with remnants of oval PROOF on the left side of breech; bayonet lug moved to the top of barrel making this musket a TYPE II. Standard all steel regulation furniture. The stock is solid with the exception of a crack and some missing wood just in front of the middle barrel band; some age stress cracks; scratches and dings from years of service. The lock is in good mechanical working order. Note; It is our opinion that this musket was reconverted back to the flintlock configuration. This model musket was the primary weapon issued for the War of 1812. Estimate Value $1,000 - 1,500
