July 4th Memorabilia - Collection of Approximately 30 Items, Most 19th Century. Invitations to and announcements of July 4th celebrations, many called Independence Balls, in various cities, from as early as 1826, 1835, 1848, 1850, 1851, and 1861. Several are from the 1880s. Worth examining personally.
In addition to approximately 30 items in this group are announcements in Spanish for celebrations given in Santiago, Chile, and two cards belonging to Ambassador Walter Howe, who served there from 1958-61. Estimate Value $300 - 400
