A fine collection of 12 engravings (ca. 1860s) of some of America's greates statesman, perfect for framing or combining with manuscripts or cut signatures. Represented here are two of Alexander Hamilton one, superbly masterfully tinted, two different engravings of Ben Franklin, John Hancock, Edward Everett, Edwin Stanton Elbridge Gerry and more. Finally there is a fine Stephen Douglas but it comes with an early Vanity Fair illustration of him and a photo of his image in a glass plate negative. Estimate Value $200 - 400
