17th Century British Will Signed by a Woman. Manuscript will on vellum, 9¼ x 13¾", Oct. 1, 1656. Sarah Dingley signed at the lower edge of the document, on each side of the vellum seal which extends 5½" below the document. Regarding the estate of the deceased John Dingley, bequeathing it to Obadiah Dingley and his heirs. Scalloped top edge. Beautifully framed in gilt wood to 23" x 19". Ready for display.
