Lot 51

1820 N-13 R1 Large Date PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC Approved. Choice lustrous light olive and bluish steel with 10-15% of both sides showing mint red. A sharply struck beauty with just a few trivial marks. The notable ones are a couple small nicks under the eye and a tiny splash of darker toning between the U & N in UNITED. Sharply struck MDS with a die crack through the date and stars, the usual Randall Hoard die state for this variety. A great date or type coin. Our grade is MS63+. The attribution and Ahumada provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; tied for finest BN of the variety. PCGS #36673. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
Ex Doug Bird 1987-Manuel Ahumada Collection.
