1820 N-11 R2 Large Date PCGS graded MS63+ Red & Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous medium brown and light chocolate with subtle overtones of light bluish steel, especially on the reverse. Peeps of faded mint red can be found on the obverse and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. The notable marks are a few microscopic ticks on the jaw and a couple spots of darker toning at CE in CENT. E-MDS. The repunching at the T in CENT is sharp and the fields are starting to show fine radial die flowlines. Graded AU55 and CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #27377. Bland says MS60+ and tied for CC#1 in his census. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Starr-Ahumada provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; the only RB example graded of the variety. PCGS #36668. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
