1819 N-9 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Red & Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty mint red fading to light steel brown with about half the planchet showing faded mint color. The notable marks are two very dull nicks in the field below stars 6 & 7 and a few spots of darker toning on the reverse, the largest of these at the D in UNITED. LDS, the usual die state for pieces from the Randall Hoard. The repunching over the top of the R in AMERICA is dull and barely visible. Our grade is MS63. The attribution and Ahumada provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 3 finer in 64 for the variety. PCGS #36653. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
