1842 N-6 R1 Large Date PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Rather frosty uniform medium brown and steel. No spots or stains, but there are a few microscopic marks on the cheek and a small nick on the throat. Looks mint state but a glass reveals a touch of rub on the highest points of the devices. MDS, die state b. The small lump in the field off the upper lip is still visible but the other lumps are gone. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 5 finer, 1 in 64, 2 in 65, 2 in 66 for the variety. PCGS #403940. Estimate Value $750 - UP
