Lot 302

1819 N-2 R1 Large Date PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Frosty chocolate brown and steel with spots of lighter golden tan toning near the stars before the portrait. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent offers nice eye appeal. Looks mint state but there is a touch of rub on the highest points of the devices. MDS with die cracks through the date and lower stars and obvious die rust on the reverse (tiny lumps on the coin). Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; 6 finer for the variety. PCGS #36631. Estimate Value $500 - UP
Ex Tom Reynolds 3/20/2006-Gene Heard Collection.
