Lot 301

1819/8 N-1 R1 Overdate 9 over 8 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty medium brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The surfaces are lustrous and nearly flawless. A few microscopic ticks in the field off the chin and a dull nick right of the foot of the F in OF being the only notable marks. Nicely struck EDS. The dentils are complete around both sides and the overdate feature is obvious. Graded MS60 by Noyes and Bland. Our grade is MS60 as well. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and Frankenfield-Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 3 finer, 2 in 64, 1 in 65 for the variety. PCGS #36658. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
