1807/6 S-273 R1 Overdate Large 7 over 6 PCGS graded XF45, CAC Approved. Glossy light olive and chocolate with some darker olive brown toning in protected areas on the reverse. Traces of mint frost show in protected areas and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. Smooth and nearly free of marks. A tiny pinprick in the field near the curl under the hair ribbon and a few even smaller pinpricks on the upper edge of the bust are good identifying marks, but they are hard to see. E-MDS, Breen state II. There are die clashmarks on both sides but no hint of swelling in the fields. The overdate feature is bold. Our grade is VF30. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 8 finer for the variety. PCGS #36442. Estimate Value $800 - UP
