1818 N-7 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Red & Brown. Lustrous medium steel brown and light chocolate with mint red covering at least 25% of the planchet, mostly on the reverse. Essentially a flawless cent if not for a trio of small spots of slightly darker toning. Two of those spots are in the field before the nose and the third is touching the truncation over the 81 in the date. M-LDS. In addition to the always-present crack that joins stars 6 & 7 there is an additional die crack off the lower right point of star 1 and minor crumbling in the dentils at star 5. Not seen by Noyes or Bland. Our grade is MS63. The attribution and Ahumada provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; the only RB of the variety. PCGS #36620.
