30-piece Collection of Roman Coinage. Consists of Silver and Bronze issues from the Roman Republic thru the Byzantine Empire. An excellent mixture, mostly lower grades and includes: Roman Republic AR denarius of A. Postumius Albinus, ca. 81 BC, Syd. 745 in VF; Alexandria, Egypt AE drachm (35 mm) of Antoninus Pius with Lighthouse reverse of Isis and Pharos in Fine, ex Mabbott Collection. A decent run of 2nd century denarii is included. All are attributed, many with pedigrees if included. Estimate Value $750 - UP
