Seleukid Kingdom. Antiochos IV Epiphanes. Æ Chalkous, 14 mm (3.72 g), 175-164 BC. Mint of Samaria. Radiate and diademed head of Antiochos IV right; behind monogram of denomination. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩ[Σ] ANTIOΧOY, goddess enthroned left, holding Nike; at feet to left, bird standing left. Hendin 1129. SC 1491; HGC 9, 1638c. Nicely struck with well-defined borders. Wonderful dark green-brown and sandy patina. NGC grade Ch XF; Strike: 5/5, Surface: 4/5. Estimate Value $300 - 350
