1797 S-120b R2 Reverse of 1795, Gripped Edge PCGS Genuine. Variety with single leaves at the top of the wreath. Sharpness VF but both sides are covered with uniform extremely faint granularity under glossy dark chocolate brown and olive toning. No marks or verdigris. Essentially flawless except for the microscopic roughness. M-LDS, Breen state V, with die cracks on both sides and crumbling on the profile and on the top of the I in LIBERTY. The "Grip" marks on the edge are clear. Our grade is VF20+ sharpness net F15. Noyes says VF20 net F12, his photo #59380. The attribution and Koshkarian provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
