Documented Order of the Red Banner of Labor of Trans-Caucasus. Award # 37. Silver. Red and white enamels. Screwback. Quality multi-piece construction. Comes with original numbered silver plate and silver small nut. The Order’s Book (contains the photo of a recipient wearing this order) shows that it was awarded to comrade Ali-Kuli Dzhafarov (shock worker machinist, according to Kutsenko’s book). Herf 1.25. Kuts pp. 341-355. Only about 150 issued. Extremely rare and historically important. Condition: Outstanding condition, with only a small area of repair at the lower part of the flag, and a small crack in white enamel next to anvil. Elusive as such. Estimate $25,000UP
