Documented and Researched Order of the Red Banner of Labor of Azerbaijan. Award # 46. Silver base with hammer and sickle in gold. Red and white enamels. Comes with original numbered silver screwback nut (award number 46 is stamped on it), and silver plate. Accompanied by original blue case of issue. Awarded to comrade Teimur Imam Kuli Ogli Kuliev – a distinguished and prominent political figure of the early USSR era, Head of the Council of People's Commissars of Azerbaijan (1937-1953), Head of Council of Ministers of Azerbaijan (1953-1954). The Order comes with 9" x 13" Gramota from the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan Republic, confirming the awarding of comrade Kuliev with this Order. Additionally, the Order comes with an extra large 12" x 16" Gramota from Central Committee of Azerbaijan Republic, confirming the same. Also, the Order comes with 2 cabinet photos of recipient (one with him wearing this order, together with XV years NKVD badge), and 3 other relevant photos. Finally, the set comes with a document, confirming that comrade Kuliev was awarded with honorary weapon "Nagant", by OGPU decree 1180, as of Dec. 20, 1932. Herf 1.7. Kuts pp. 97-102.
