Two WWII Era US Navy Leather Flying Helmets with Chin Straps, Summer & Winter Versions. Two vintage WWII Era US Navy USN Type NAF 1092 leather flying helmets. Offering both versions, one lined with wool (1092 W) for colder temperatures with chin strap. This piece is in excellent condition with no tears rips or excessive wear. mild corrosion/tarnish to buckles. Leather remains quite supple. The other is without wool lining (1092) and in equally supple and excellent condition. Both are sizes 7 3/8. $250 - 350
