First American edition, stated "First Printing" (June 1929) on the copyright page, 291 pp. Binding is tight, pages clean -- book is fine. In the scarce, lightly chipped and soiled first issue dust jacket, stating "First American printing 100,000 Copies" on the bottom of the rear flap and original price of $2.50 net present. The great War novel, translated from the German Im Westen Nichts Neues by A. W. Wheen.
