MAYLAY 'KRIS' DAGGER. A good MAYLAY "Kris" Dagger of the Java/Javenese/Indonesian/Bali region. 15" double-edge blade laminated in three layers of meteoric iron called "PAMIR". The (mendak or uwar) is of gold set with small colored cabochon stones. The wood grip and sheath has very fine decorative carving, circa. late 19th-20th century. 22.5" overall with scabbard. $600 - 800
