AN ANTIQUE CIVIL WAR PERIOD U.S. MILITARY JOSLYN PERCUSSION CARBINE. An antique Civil War period U.S. military percussion carbine made by JOSLYN FIR ARMS CO., STONINGTON, CONN., 1864. 22".52 cal. rimfire rifled barrel. Breech-loader. Stock has two military inspector's cartouches stamped on the left side above the saddle ring bar, dents, dings, and scratched but sound. 40% original blue remains on barrel with mixed patches of surface rust. 38.75" overall. Note; Hammer missing. Tumbler needs to be restored or replaced. A worthy example for restoration…. $1,000 - 1,500
