Striking 17th Century Style, Swept Hilt Rapier. Handsome rapier made from early 20th century and older parts, this straight, double-edged blade with makers marks stamped on both sides of ricasso and unidentified marks within the fuller has a characteristic worked steel hilt of flattened, fluted, and rounded bars decorated with gold wash, side ring, fluted pommel decorated "en suite" with guard, twisted and braided wire grip with "Turk's Head" ferrules.
