AN ANTIQUE BRITISH MILITARY LIGHT DRAGOON FLINTLOCK PISTOL. An good antique British military Light Dragoon pattern flintlock service pistol, circa. 1800-1810. 9".64 cal. barrel with two PROOFS at breech. Regulation brass furniture. Lock marked with a 'CROWN' over 'GR' (King George III), 'TOWER' (Tower of London). The stock is sound with a restored section at the fore-end, lightly sanded and refinished (some remnants of stock markings visible on the left side at the rear of side plate), light scratches and dings from handling. Captive ram rod. Lock is in good mechanical working order. The pistol is in it's original flintlock configuration. 15.75" overall. $1,500 - 2,000
