1990s NASA In-Suit Doppler Mockup. Part #199720075 serial #003, Ins-Suit Doppler Ultrasound was used for determining risk of decompression and were tested during STS-83 & STS-87 missions in 1997. Mockup is contained in original NASA Parts Bag and is accompanied by three ISD Pockets, two different, with two in their original NASA Pink Parts Bag. Pockets wee used to house a spacesuit In-Suit Doppler Ultrasound. Overall objective of this RME was to evaluate the possibility of reduced pre-breathe requirements for EVA, without compromising operational safety or increasing risk of decompression sickness (DCS) to astronauts. Original NASA cost was $1500.00. We don't recall ever seeing one of these before. Includes detailed COA. $350 - 500
