1853 N-24 R3 NGC graded MS63 Brown. Frosty medium steel brown and chocolate. Sharp and attractive, but there are a few minor marks. The notable ones are a tiny scuff up from the right point of star 8, a fine pin scratch tucked under the hair bun, and a shallow planchet lamination on the rim over IC in AMERICA. None of these defects is visible without a glass and the eye appeal is excellent. Sharply struck LDS, die state b. The fine vertical die lines at the inner curl are gone. Our grade is MS60 net AU55.
