1834 N-5 R5 Large 8 & Stars, Medium Letters PCGS graded VF35. Attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. The planchet is smooth except for a hint of natural striation near the dentils at stars 10-12. There are a few light nicks in the field before the portrait, none notable. The reverse is nearly flawless and peeps of mint frost can be found in protected areas inside the wreath. MDS with strong doubling on the ear caused by die bounce. A nice example of this popular "Redbook" variety. Our grade is VF30. The "Lg 8-Lg Stars-Med Let" features are noted on the PCGS label. Estimated Value $1,000-UP
