1995 STS-74 FLOWN NASA Transfer Bag. FLOWN on multiple missions on Shuttle Atlantis and MIR, this Transfer Bag is class I flight hardware with NASA part #SDD46112873-711 serial #1015 as labeled on side. Bag was used during Phase I Space Shuttle-MIR Program. NASA paperwork indicates this bag was FLOWN on numerous flights to MIR including STS-74, 79 and 86. Bag sides bear two pockets with clear plastic cover. Contents of bag would be contained on red cards, in English or in Russian, indicating bag was to be transferred from Shuttle to MIR. After bag transference for return on Shuttle, blue card was used and indicated items being returned. Bag measures 19"x14" and is 8" deep with two brass zippers, one per side. Also included, for illustration purposes only, is photo showing two bags in SpaceHab Module in Atlantis's cargo bay, Also includes large NASA pink Parts Bag that transfer bag was stored in, NASA Parts ID Tag, NASA flight history and three 4"x6" photos taken of a set of three container contents cards.
