1970s-1980s toxic fuel handler's 'SCAPE' suit. SCAPE stands for Self Contained Atmospheric Protective Ensemble and is original from Kennedy Space Center. This well used suit was worn when handling fueling propellants, fueling rockets, Shuttles and so forth. Helmet has large numbers '258' on each side and has crack on the back. Inside rubber hoses are deteriorated as one would expect. Does not include boots, gloves, & other excessories. This genuine NASA late Apollo to early Shuttle era suit is an interesting addition to any space collection. Includes Ken Havekotte COA. Estimated Value $250 - 500
