The Vietzen Museum contained the lifelong collection of Col. And Mrs. Raymond Vietzen, one of the finest and most complete collections of American prehistoric antiquities ever assembled. Col. Vietzen was the author of 17 books and was considered a foremost authority of American prehistory. He died in 1995, and his museum's collection was dispersed by four auctions beginning on June 27, 1998. This flint ridge Adena arrowhead was the most brilliantly colored in the collection and was Lot #357 selling for $2860. Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500
