Elaborately Carved Lavender and Spinach Jade Phoenix. Elaborately carved, mid-20th Century phoenix in a regal stance among a cluster of the most elegantly rendered peonies, with a magpie in the lower bottom left. Beautiful. elegant details throughout: the feathers, the petals, the graceful curves of the bird all which stands on a carved wood base. Wonderful lavender tones in the jade punctuated with the intense spinach or apple green tones. Carving stands 15 x 9" on a 2¼" tall wood base. In excellent condition and quite lovely.
