Antique Edwardian Ceiling Bowl Pendant Gaslight Fixture Converted For Electricity. Outstanding vintage patinated gray bronze gaslight fixture removed from a New York State building that has been converted for electric use with the addition of a center light fixture. Original sky blue glass ovals surround the top edge which are evenly spaced by the original gas jets. An elegant, simply etched frosted glass bowl disburses the light from the installed electric fixture, painted to match the beautifully detailed metal work not only in the fixture but in the extension pole that continues to the ceiling fluted with a delicate wrapping vine. This fixture is a perfect for most home use with twelve foot ceilings. Entire length of the light fixture is 43" in lenth from ceiling to bowl and 18" round. Absolutely beautiful when illuminated, especially in the evening. In excellent working condition. A beautiful piece which would prove a striking centerpiece for any home entry or dining area.
