Zuñiga, Francisco. Silvia Agachada. (1912-1998) Costa Rican born, Mexican artist considered one of Mexico's top of the 20th Century, widely regarded for his paintings and sculptures. In permanent museum collections worldwide, his figural interpretation of the human body are considered the best of the Mexican modern style. Offered here (after) Zuñiga's Silvia Agachada a popular work in bronze with dark brown patina on a wood base. Sculpture measures 5¼" x 7" x 6¾" and wood base 2" x 9" x 7¾" and weighing 6½ pounds. Incised with the artist's signature under right leg, Original gallery COA included. Excellent condition and the piece, highly prized. Estimated Value $2,500 - 3,000
