Gene Tunney, Two Pair of Boxing Gloves One Pair Signed Inside. Gene Tunney (1897 - 1978) World Heavyweight champion 1926-1928. Offered are two pair of vintage boxing gloves approximately 75 years old certainly losing their leather due to age. Inside the red pair Tunney signature is visible, somewhat faded, but definitlely in his hand. The brown pair were tied to the red pair, but on closer inspeciton a decades old notation was found deep inside one glove. In very used, vintage conditon. Estimated Value $500 - 800
