1928 Boston Braves Signatures Including Hall of Famer Rogers Hornsby. 1928 collection of signatures from the 1928 Boston Braves signed on a commemorative cover celebrating airmail service from Springfield, Illinois and Charles Lindbergh. Note: many of the signatures appear to be written in the same hand. But clearly Hall of Famer Rogers Hornsby's is legitimate (very distinct "R") who the cover was originally addressed to. Possibly one or two others player but no more. Seems like someone was merely jotting down the roster. Hornsby's signature is bold, written along a blue line and is certainly colllected.
