From the 1928 Boston Red Sox line-up 13 team signatures have been signed onto a first flight airmail cover commemorating inaugural service from Albany and Buffalo. Included are Marty Griffin, Danny MacFayden, Ed Morris (Murdered at his Florida departure party for Red Sox Training Camp in 1932), Jack Russell, Pat Simmons, Buddy Myer, Bill Regan, Billy Rogell, Ira Flagstead, Ken Williams, manager Bill Carrigan, trainer Bits Bierbatter and inexplicably Charles Wagner who didn't start playing until the 1930s so likely obtained at a later date. Stain in top left corner, light overall toning, otherwise quite fine. Estimated Value $2,000-UP
