Wright, Frank Lloyd (1867-1959). Arguably the most influential American architect and interior designer of the 20th century. His impact and popularity are almost without peer, seeing the completion of over 530 of his designs and innovations of many building types, including offices, private homes, churches, schools, skyscrapers, hotels, and museums, perhaps most notably the landmark residence Falling Water, The Guggenheim Museum, and the Price Business Tower, now a multi-use arts building and museum. Offered is an 8 x 8½" single weight, black & white portrait photo strongly signed in blue pen at lower right, but trailing into the darker portion of his shoulder. A fine, rare signature by one of the titans of architecture. Photo has some minor chipping along top border. Estimated Value $800 - 1,200
