(1900-06) C. D. Peacock Jeweler Token. MT-M19 NGC MS62 BR. NGC graded MS-62 Brown. Copper, 31 mm. Technically an imitation of hard time tokens in the style and size, but struck way later, even is included in the Rulau book. The C. D. Peacock Jeweler, founded in 1837 as indicated on the token, is one of the first jewelry shops opened in Chicago. The company is still in business until today. A beautiful token with hints of steel blue colors. Estimated Value $200 - 250
