Lot 340

1834 N-1 R1 Small 8, Large Stars PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Lustrous light chocolate and steel brown with satiny mint frost covering the fields and protected areas. No notable marks, but there is a hint of friction on the highest points of the design. MDS with the repunching inside the C in AMERICA still clear. The reverse is rotated 20 degrees CW. Called MS60 net AU55 in the Noyes census, his photo #21746. A very nice cent with choice mint state eye appeal. Our grade is AU58. The attribution and Naftzger provenance are noted on the PCGS label. Estimated Value $750-UP
