1820 N-12 R3 Large Date AU55. A mint state cent that was very lightly cleaned on the obverse and has retoned nicely. The obverse is glossy light to medium chocolate brown with hints of lighter brown in the fields while the reverse is lustrous olive and bluish steel brown with tiny spots of lighter brown toning inside the wreath. No contact marks. Sharply struck MDS with fine radial die flowlines in the fields while the lump over star 4 is dull but visible. Noyes photo #37320. Estimated Value $400-UP
