Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (10.76g), 117 Choice VF. Struck at Ephesus. Bare head of Hadrian facing r. Reverse: DIA-NA / EPHESIA. Cult statue of Diana of Ephesus within decorated teterastyle temple. Metcalf 40-65/ RIC 475a; RSC 538a. Rare. Natural die flaw on left obverse rim.
