1849 N-3 R3 EF45+. Sharpness near mint state but lightly cleaned and retoned glossy olive brown and reddish steel. The only marks are a small, very shallow pit between stars 9 & 10 and a microscopic pinprick over the left upright of the N in ONE. Very rare earliest die state, die state a, before any crumbling on the reverse. Not in the overall condition census for the variety but tied for finest known of die state a.
